Rascalé Outline

This is the outline for the children's series I'm working on creating the pre production for. Enjoy!

Sarah Hawethorn is the inheritant of a huge estate and all the items in it, but no money. Grateful for her home and heritage she tries to look after it as best she can but with her spending problems, she has got into a lot of debt and ended up having to sell some of the land surrounding the property. The whole area is over developed and covered in new houses squeezed in as close as possible to each other. This has caused a lot of problems for animals living in the area, which is how we are first introduced to the protagonist Rascalé a cocky, selfish weasel living in the city. Rascalé along with other animals is struggling to survive in the surrounding area and so has come to reside in the Hawethorn’s large residence. He at first causes a lot of trouble in the house, particularly for the owners, but soon realises the house is enchanted bringing the furs and taxidermy back to life at night. Becoming friends with the animals and helping them with their problems and mysteries (as they can’t leave the estate and some of them don’t have bodies) Rascalé is quickly accepted as a permentant resident and loved by all. He becomes a much nice person and very compassionate towards the animals, although he doesn’t like to show it, and when he discovers that the house is yet again being threatened by developers he must work to ensure the survival of his newly found friends.
