Backgrounds

Here are two of my final finished backgrounds, one for the daytime view of my manor and the other for the nighttime. I created the backgrounds in Photoshop adding texture to make them more interesting. To create the nighttime background I added two blue hue and saturation layers, some stars, some extra shadows, a layer of mist, removed the clouds and changed the colour of the sky.

Bobby Pope

This is the final coloured fish character that I was working on a while ago. I did a few quick colour tests for him and then coloured up the final one in the middle once I had the colours I was happy with.

Bear Expressions

Here are a range of expressions for my bear character that I have been working on today. I wanted the character to have a range of expressions but overall he is pretty grumpy and miserable.

Bear Turnaround and Construction.

I decided to go with this colour for my bear as he matched the other characters yet had his own distinct colour pallet. Here is the final colour turnaround and the construction. Definitely the hardest character to construct and turnaround as he is predominantly a rug!

Bear Colour Tests

I've been trying to decide which colour my bear character would look best in, and which colour would go best with the other characters. Here are a few different colour tests I did quickly in photoshop to try and help me work it out!

Bear Zbrush Turnaround

Definitely the best turnaround I have ever produced. I don't think a bear rug makes for a great turnaround but still I created one. I thought I would also include some other views just so you can see what it looks like from all angles.

Art of Book

I haven't posted anything in a couple of days because this weekend I've been working on my art of book for Rascalé!  Hopefully Il be able to give you a sneak peek in the next couple of days!
